One of the most diverse artists of today, Alicia Tennant, a Louisiana native is acclaimed for her commanding voice, superb musicianship and elegant stage presence. Performing since age 5, Alicia began professional vocal training at age 16 and sings in a four octave range in Italian, German, French, Latin and Spanish. Alicia studied music-vocal performance at Southern University of Baton Rouge, LA and the University of Louisiana at Monroe with the legendary Louis Nabors. This unique artist embraces different genres of music from Opera, gospel, r&b and pop and has been featured on television and film soundtracks. She is also an actress who has appeared in movies and performed with several theatre companies. She has performed in operas and concerts in the U.S. and throughout the Amalfi Coast in Italy. She has received rave reviews from her performances in leading opera roles such as “The Marriage of Figaro” as Susana, “The Magic Flute”, “Porgy and Bess” and many others. Alicia won first place in the regional N.A.T.S (National Association of Teachers & Singers) competition and was a soloist in several Visual and Performing Arts programs and National Arts Council events. She has performed with the Los Angeles Metropolitan Opera, Louisiana Lyric opera, Colburn School of Music Choir as well as other productions throughout LA and New York.

​What makes this artist so unique is her ability to connect with people regardless of the genre of music on an international level. As an inspirational singer/songwriter her goal is to uplift your spirit and bring peace to all who listen to her beautiful sound. “Singing is my ministry because I am pouring out a part of my soul to bless others. I encourage people to never giveup on their dreams no matter what obstacles you face.” Alicia recently released a bonus edition Christmas album which is a blend of soothing and up tempo favorites with a classical and pop feel.

Alicia has been inspired by various artists such as: Leontyne Price, Renee Fleming, Kathleen Battle, Josh Groban, Rachelle Ferrell, Lalah Hathaway, Whitney Houston, Kim Burrell and many more. Currently residing in Los Angeles, CA she is recording a new album that will incorporate her versatile styles. This artist is truly spreading positive light to the world and has a lot in store for us in the near future.
