Joan Wakeland is a retired Pharmacist and an Entrepreneur in the Financial arena. Prior to coming to America, she was a successful business woman in the field of Pharmacy.In the US she worked for Big Pharma for over 30 years and retired from the Corporate World in 2014 due to health challenges. 

She is the Director of the Riverside Nafe Affiliate, her passion is volunteering. She is a Charter Member for the Lions Club, President of the GFWC Menifee?Sun City Woman's Club and a Financial Educator. She conducts free Financial Literacy workshops at the Provident Bank Community Center and writes monthly articles for the local newspaper the Menifee Buzz. 

 Joan was a recipient of President Obama "Call to Service Award in 2014“, Senator Mike Morell's " Woman of Distinction Award in 2015 " and The Lifetime Achievement Award “ from President Obama in 2016.Joan loves connecting people together as she truly believes that “together we can achieve more! “
